These, o God, you will not despise. So those verses are talking about being broken. And so when you think about being broken, you think about, the best analogy I can use is horses. When they get a horse, they break the horse so the horse won't get spooked. They break the horse so that the horse can be ridden. Because most horses, they don't want the saddle on them

For some people, they utterly destroy their life. The thing about Christianity that we believe that Jesus Christ came as God in the flesh to show us how to walk the way. They didn't even call Christianity back then. When Jesus lived, they didn't call it Christianity was called the way. And as we believe that he was perfect, a man who knew no sin, but even him and his humanity, he was divine and he was also human

I remember coming home and asking my aunt, and I'm like, people just walk up to me and start talking to me. And she's like, they see the God in you. And I'm like, what? And I didn't understand it at first, but then I learned how to accept it because I was so used to just being withdrawn and by myself. Although I felt better, I felt happier. I felt more alive

Hey, this is a great topic. Brokenness is absolutely necessary in our spiritual growth. It doesn't feel good, but it's necessary for what God wants to produce in us. The Bible talks about the pruning that takes place, how God prunes us so we get cut back so that we can produce more. It's kind of like with our hair when we have split ends
