#AskSwell should a woman be the leader and/or dominant and the man be submissive or should the man be the leader and the woman be submissive?
And she was saying that men are territorial, so they really don't know how to go out. Women tell men what to do and they go and do it. So she's like, woman telling me, go out and cut the grass and he go cut it or he do whatever. And so she was saying that it's not natural for men to be leaders. It's natural for men to be submissive

And Pastor Tony Evans says a woman should not marry a man she does not look up to. And so if I don't look up to my husband, I shouldn't be married to a man that I don't look up to, because if I don't look up to him, that means I don't respect him

But thank you for your response. I totally agree with you. And I've said this before for me, if during the dating process, he doesn't lead me properly, we won't get past the dating process, because I believe what you do while you're dating, that will carry through to the relationship. Right. And I believe that our first few dates, if even act like you trying to lead. Yeah, I'm good. I'm really good

I'm going to respond to this. And then it's like, this is one of those times when you can see yourself coming, you know, you don't do it. You know what I mean? I say, you know what? At least this young lady had something that looked like a ring on most of the relationship gurus that are basically 1517, you know what I mean?
You just walk around looking all crazy. You know what I mean? That ain't a friend. I don't know. Somebody helped that child. Even they own the swell. She needs a little help. Part of me wants to bring her back, and the other part of me wants to be like, you better stay away from there. You know better than that. You've been there before. But, yeah, she got to run that stuff by somebody, anybody

If she gets her a simp, somebody who's just willing to do anything to make a woman happy, those type of men. Yeah, she might be able to use those manipulation tactics, but a man who knows who he is and a man who knows his role and his purpose, he ain't going to listen to her, allow her to run him like that. That's why these women that have all this advice are always sitting there by themselves with no man

And here's the thing. A real woman, when she gets in a relationship with you, even when she begins to start liking you, because let me not say that. Let me speak for myself. If it's a man who he really has that confidence and he shows me by the way that he does things, the way he acts, that he is a leader, I automatically submit. Even while we're dating. Even while we're dating. I'm already softer, right?

Because it really doesn't even sound really I guess I'm going to say this, and I hate trying to speak for a lot of people, but I don't know a lot of women that want a man that they can. Tell what to do. Like, in theory, a woman I know women in theory that they be like they want a man that they could tell what to do, in theory. But when they actually get with that man, they don't really like that

And I didn't submit to them because they didn't give me anything to submit to. And that's why they're no longer my husband. I desire to have a godly marriage. I desire to have a husband who knows how to lead, that I can submit to, that I can be under his leadership and he lead me and guide me in the right way and that he loved me in the right way. My father once said something, and I totally agree with him
