If we yell about this and get really mad, that's fine, but what we need to do, and this is my climate influence take always is switch kind of the narrative and just start telling stories of communities where they push back a little bit on highway funding and they instead did some sort of a public transit or some sort of something the opposite of expanding a highway and doing something smart in transportation and how it was a success, or how even those who resisted that, or the citizens of the city or state who didn't vote for that policy then realized it was great and started using public transportation themselves
