Emotional pillar

Sometimes we lead with our heart instead of our head, and sometimes that's okay. But if we let our emotions absolutely control everything we do, there's no logic involved, and we find ourselves getting heartbroken and unable to bounce back from things like rejection. Rejection isn't always a bad thing. I know you've heard the saying, when one door closes, another one opens. And it's true. It's very true

My morning talk with my daughter explaining why she is nit interested to take up a volunteering despite that being good for her experience!

I need to make sure that something that I'm trying to explain it to my daughter, that it's beneficial for her, is only going to be beneficial for her when she actually accepts it and takes up that role or challenges if she's not ready. Right now, I need to kind of back myself down, and that's an important lesson I learned not to think on emotional levels all the time, because then you lose the practically part of it
