article image placeholderUploaded by @allowthesun
It's on this beautiful off grid property in CEDRA Woolley, Washington, near Bellingham in the magical Pacific Northwest. And since our focus since our work focuses on being out in the elements, we will be chatting about our favorite part of being in nature, and we'd love to hear yours as well. So please feel free to hop in at any point the conversation and share what your favorite part about being in nature is. So without further ado, I'd like to introduce our guest

And I feel as though us human beings have lost connection to that ancient connection to nature and just cannot wait to continue diving into it myself and creating space to guide other people back to that connection as well. I believe that is the light that I share with the world and sometimes reconnecting in nature allows us to also step into the darkness, because in the dark is where we find our true light

I love the synchronicity of creatures that show up animals, birds, insects, maybe the weather, what the weather is doing, or the trees and the plants. Kind of finding linkages between what's around us and what messages we're receiving from that. I think about the owl, and the owl is such a symbol of wisdom and inner wisdom and really going within and also transformation

We are going to have some really fun spaces on the farm. During the retreat to gather, we'll have this amazing wisdom tree that our friend Laura GunnAP, a firewood print shop. She has created these amazing sunprint banners, and it's a place to go hang under a tree and hang little drawings or words up on the tree for folks to take in. We'll have an imagination corner

And I think it's because I took myself away from the situation to look at it objectively, although I didn't know that's what I was doing at the time. Nature has a way of correcting all the wrongs that we make given the right circumstances and time. So that started me on a path, a spiritual path started me traveling. And I ended up in an Ayahuasca ceremony which absolutely changed everything in my life. I went from club owner, promoter, cannabis entrepreneur to vagabond

Five minute cut off

I apologize. I'm new on swell, and I keep forgetting that there is a five minute limit on there. I just wanted to wrap it up. You know, I find this topic fascinating. I find all of you people fascinating, and I can't wait to hear more. I wanted to share with you guys a little bit what brought me there. And yeah, you. This is fantastic. And you guys are fantastic. So thank you

My favorite thing was waking up early in the morning and seeing the sunrise over this beautiful, gorgeous rock. That was also a cave that you could go in. It's just beautiful. But yeah, I'm just so grateful to keep meeting people that have the same feelings about nature and about creating spaces, too, to connect and yeah. I just really feel really inspired by your story. So thank you again for sharing this. I could talk about this all the time and

I mean, you can call down in the middle of the night and have them come up and stoke your wood fire showers in the tents and stuff. They have morning yoga and meditation, plus horseback rides and then these beautiful hiking trails that go into the valley there in Zion. Absolutely stunning landscape. Like I said, you'll have to look it up. It's called under canvas. I'm not exactly sure the price
