Familiar Stranger
Especially because now I hold on to so many fears. My preteen self is excited and carefree, but present day me wants me to flee the prospect of things in this journey going all wrong with a crush that's apparently still holding fast and strong, perpetuates these raw fears of brand new pain. Having me sitting here wondering what's to gain? And will this experience revitalize me? Leaving my own cup full, keeping me consistently warm like a blanket made of pure wool?
