Google Parent Alphabet To Layoff 12,000 Employees Globally, Pichai Takes "Full Responsibility" : What's Going On?! And What Are Your Views On It?
The link to which I have pasted in the description box, you can check it out yourself if you haven't come across this piece of information already, because I think this came out just a couple of hours ago or an hour or two ago. So, yeah. What are your views on this and what are your views generally on such mass firing and these huge layoffs that are being announced in so many tech giants have been doing this recently? And what do you think might be the reason behind it?

If they used it during the Pandemic, they would be more inclined towards using technology now rather than their traditional methods. If they used afterwards earlier. So it really baffles me about how there are so many layoffs and yeah, if you know more about it, you could enlighten me, please

So, yeah, from the point of view of the people who got laid off, it does seem really heartbreaking. But well, I guess we won't be able to gauge the logic behind all of it. And thank you so much for your inputs and for letting me know what's your take on it. Thanks a lot

So if they would have retained the 6% workforce which they let go according to them that would have costed them way lot, way more than what they are getting in return. Maybe compared to their growth, they can't really afford such a huge workforce right now. So yeah, I guess maybe there are logical reasons behind it like this one or maybe not
Yeah, this was kind of a very insightful swell. And yeah. With lots of companies laying off, it has become a concern for the employees. And I wish them all the best who are going through this
