But intellectually, we know that certain things in life are inevitable, but we still try to manipulate the very things that are destined to resolve on their own or pull away because of their natural desire of autonomy. So as I continue to go through this journey of surrendering, even the mere internal proclamation for me of surrendering sends my brain into fight or flight mode, into survival mode. Hey, Dr. Mary I love the thought process here and just the clear and authentic relations of what surrender looks like and how it plays its own little games with us in life. I feel like a lot of people struggle with the idea of surrender because they are so tightly woven onto the illusion of control. Kind of like what you said, but you broke it down beautifully. And I think that this is definitely a big time possible inspiration for other people to do the same
