Let's talk about witches in Jesus seemingly opposing ends of a spectrum, but in my opinion, quite similar. I know that typically we don't think of these two things. They go as almost opposites. But if you really study the history of religion and how these things came about and spirituality and even delve into the nature of Jesus and why people were even called witches and how that kind of got misconstrued, I think it makes sense to talk about them together. And I left the church about a handful of years ago. But I definitely agree that even in the Tarot community, a lot of people actually call on, like, Christ as one of their or Jesus as one of their guides to channel. And there's this concept of Christ consciousness

I think it's an important conversation because in some ways, maybe the New Age side is lacking a bit of structure and this isn't a judgment, it's just a thought. And then on the church side, it's maybe lacking a bit of spirit and it's more of something out there to help me

Thanks for replying. Yeah, it's definitely weird because growing with the Church, I was taught all of these weird and restrictive, oppressive ideas about what faith should look like. And a lot of that was actually tied up with a lot of patients patriarchal standards and empire. It's interesting because Christians are always talking about, oh, the empire kills Christ. But then they have really become aligned with, at least in the US. Politics of today, they have become very aligned with Empire

Hey there. I hear you for sure on the church being politicized and the left and the right, even how left maybe is considered more New Age and right is of course, the right wing Christian. It's sad to me because I feel like a those things are the extremes of most people's viewpoints and we as a society and media are perpetuated reading it as like, you're this or that
