India V Pakistan T20WC

Credit to their bowling unit. Credit to their betting unit. Despite initial setbacks, they still managed to put up a fightable. Decent score. Likewise for the Indian team. Credit to Team India's bowling upfront put Pakistan on the back foot and eventually restricting them to almost a surpass score in some sense, but you won't call it a subpar given the fact that it's India and Pakistan. So it's always going to be a pressure cooker situation

Absolutely. It was magical. And I think Zirad himself said that, you know, in the postmatch interview, he said that this was probably meant to be because the shots that he planned and the shots that actually happened on ground were very different. So there is a magical a ring to this entire game. And I think Virat is vindicated

So we went out there and you would not believe it was me holding my phone in my hand. On the last over, with 2025 people watching who all had given up hope on what are the chances of India winning today and all of us cheering until the last ball, it was absolute madness, which today's game was. To be very honest with you, I'm so glad that Koli was the one who led it, because I'm a guy, I'm a really big fan of Khlie

Oh, absolutely. Let's not forget Mr. Arashwin. I mean, it was so clever of him to let the ball slide, pass for a wide keeping his width towards the end when there is the pressure cooker would have bursted off. Right. It was unbelievable on his part to stay calm in such a pressure cooker situation and then hit the winning runs. It is just testimony of the resilience of the mental stability that some of these people have. I think they go numb when under extreme duress

There is, you know, you may lose the battle, but the war is yet to be won. So let's not even jump the gun beyond a point. Yes, it's a memorable game. There's a long way to go. And so I really have nothing but praise for Team Pakistan. They have really turned out well on the park. Pushed the favorite team, as it were, to the brink. Not just one occasion on multiple occasions

So what an incredible match and amazing finish. And I'm sure the statisticians can tell us, like, how many times has India beaten Pakistan on the last ball? For people of certain age who watch cricket from India, there is almost collective trauma of losing to Pakistan in close matches. Right? I still get nightmares about Javid Miya hitting the 6th of the last poll of Chief and Sharma

And yeah, I hope we get many games of the sort because honestly, I think cricket is losing the kind of hold it used to have. It still has the hold. Right. I think no sport comes close to cricket for Indians in having the hold over the hoypoloi, so to speak. And a match like this just shows that, oh yeah, the interest is still there. It's just the perception of what is cool has changed. Which is why people don't talk about certain sports

Definitely the best India was this Pakistan match. I would say the past history we were all saying if we dismiss Baba and Muhammad Razaan on then that is it. But surprisingly order came into the party and with a few final blows from the bowlers pakistan managed to put on 159 and with the kind of bowling lineup Pakistan has 159 looked like 175 and I would say Rohit and Rahul were more onto the defensive side and over cautious so caught in the trees and lost their wickets
