T20 WC Semi Final Analysis

article image placeholderUploaded by @aayanman
My analysis at this point suggests team New Zealand comes in at 29%, followed by Team India at 25%, followed by Team England at 24 and 22% for Team Pakistan. Now this will go up and down for there are some other factors like this is being played in Sydney and Adelaide. And at least what I've learned is that in today's game we have a used pitch. So the pace and bounce might vary, might keep a little low. It could be a high scoring game

Congratulations Team Pakistan #pakistan #cricket #t20wc

People are almost ruling out England, making it to the finals. I am not. I still think they have a good chance to meet Team Pakistan in the finals and then it could well be their cup as well. So let's wait and watch what happens tomorrow

Hey. Aayan. I'm just going to tune in and keep listening to your insights because I'm not a big follower of the game, but I'd like to definitely, you know, stay updated. So thank you for starting this post. Just wonderful. So I'm just going to get my updates from your swell cast

I think 60 in ten overs. Seriously. And pressure on death overs. People were just not able to get off the blocks. Bowling lacks one or two bowlers who could bowl more than 150 clicks. Not enough Yorkers, I thought, something to intimidate the batter's. Not happening. Shoddy fielding and then clearly talking on the big moments. These are some eight points that I thought clearly played a big role in ending Team India's campaign

@aayanman statistics beats narratives

Hi. Aayan. This one was heartwrenching. I actually woke up in the middle of the night to watch the match. I woke up for the last few hours of hard d***. One year's batting seemed to have saved the earnings gets batting side of it. But then after the first four or 5 hours of England batting, it seemed it was going to be over soon. And I did not even watch the whole thing

@arish : https://youtu.be/MZ6wumax4ss - the press conference you missed!

It defeats any other objective, actually, to not win any major tournament in the last ten years, especially coming from a country which organizes, hosts, owns IPL, which is arguably the best league in the world and is a key supplier of talent to all cricket boards, including money, of course, barring Pakistan. And here you are in a situation where something that you benefit from is not producing the desired result for your own team. That is what is absolutely Gobsmacking. How is that even possible?

So I'd love to hear some of your thoughts, your commentary on some of these things that we are hearing from across the border. Does that help in easing the tensions or do you think they are feeling very bitter, having been left out of IPL, having been left out, not being given enough importance? Is that the case that they're reacting to provoke a reaction from India? Or in Indian cricketing management? What do you think is the future of India Park cricket?

And that day it was quite obvious against the Pakistanis. And the Pakistanis certainly have a certain more amount of flair and innovation as far as India and England were concerned. I think right from the beginning, I held this view that India is not the team that people are making it out to be, because looking at their body movements, having an experience of having played the game, you can see at times that certain people are just jaded and they're just not in the groove
