Hi. Asta you have beautifully stated the need of selfcare in your soul. We as a human being care for others very much. But we should preserve a state or corner for caring for ourselves too. It helps in knowing ourselves and being more happy. And selfcare also includes accepting one's imperfection and flaws and try to be a better version of oneself. We should start practicing self care therapy as soon as possible in our life. And according to me, it is a first step of loving ourselves

Hello, guys. I hope you are doing good. So in these days, I've literally seen people, like, going on extremely strict diets and literally starving themselves. And then they literally want to be like, the beautiful girl or whatsoever. But the thing is, they literally don't see themselves like others do. Like, they don't actually realize how beautiful they are because they literally neglect themselves. They literally have negative thoughts about themselves because they don't love themselves enough

We keep thinking about it. So don't stress yourself too much. Nothing is permanent. Don't give permanent motions to temporary problems. So remain calm. Things will pass on. It's very difficult to say rather than to follow. But this is true. You have to be having patience. You have to love yourself. You have to care about yourself. So will you care about others truly and honestly without doing anything for you? You can never do everything for everyone

Why is self care important to me? #DishTales

And it's just my own insecurities that are projecting onto other people rather than helping me take care of myself and the inner child, as they say in me. So thank you because self care has been an essential part of maintaining a healthy and happy balance for me, because it allows me to recharge, refocus and rewire my whole entire system. Hey, I definitely agree with you that nowadays to look like another person, the so called perfect person, people follow a lot of ways. Like going on diets using cosmetics full of chemicals which only makes them go through lot of uncomfortness like who will prefer starving themselves. And we keep on forgetting that we have got some other aspects as well to our personality, whether it has to do with our emotional side or spiritual side and we just don't take good care of them. Physiologically, psychologically. In this aspects we should not only take care of the fact that we're drinking enough water, we're eating healthy food, we're taking care of our skin and keeping it clean, but also the fact that we are taking a break for ourselves on a constant basis. We are not overloading ourselves with too much work and burning ourselves out. We should take breaks to either dance, sing or do whatever we enjoy

Evening, ma'am. You very well explained that how physical and mental selfcare is so important to us. However, I would like to bring in light some of the things which I feel are also important. For example, you mentioned that selfcare is actually very important for our physical and mental wellness. But today, in this busy routine, it makes it really tough for us to take care of ourselves. Where these youngsters are really with social media and this self care is often labeled as procrastinating on social media

And I completely agree with how you've put it as self preservation and not self indulgence or being selfish because several times it is equated with indulging too much in oneself and not paying attention to say the social world and the outside world and everything which is again wrong if one does it or if others perceive one to doing it.
