The yellow brick road of poverty

Hello, me again. And this is just one of the chapters in my book I wanted to talk about, the yellow brick road of poverty. So what is poverty? So basically, if you looked through, or if you Google. Yeah, a lot of people Google, but, um, I was thinking this just stemmed off of something

Separating Poverty Mindset from happiness.

Good morning. I love your title, the yellow brick road of poverty. The title actually got me here, and I wanted to get into it a little bit. I really enjoy your conversation and this exploration on the poverty mindset in the work that I do. My name is Shawna, by the way, and the work that I do is it's about generational poverty and transportation and workforce development is where I am, and those are two of the pillars, and housing being one of them

They can can revert to something other than crime, to, you know, gain what they think. Like, their mindset of what. What do I need? What kind of life can I have other than resorting to crime? And so my project right now is kind of, I want to work with any age. It doesn't matter, especially the young, young girls, young boys in their mindset of, excuse me, I can't talk

Hello there. This is wonderful. I am excited about your project. I'm excited about that for you. I really enjoy the questioning and how you are seeing the world and looking at areas that need fixing and saying, what's going on? We need fixing. I want to direct your attention. I'm excited about your project. I said that. I'm really excited. I wanted to direct your attention to a book and a program that might be an interesting place for you to start

And education, of course, I believe education, of course, is helpful. But you asked a question of how did I get, excuse me, how did I get through, and what did I learn? I guess, from my poor mentality or mindset. I guess you want to call it mindset because it's interesting I use the word mentality. Anyway, I'm still having coffee, so I'm not awake yet because I'm near the St. Louis, Missouri area

We are always looking for answers when something is going wrong. You know, if something's going wrong in your marriage or you're feeling depressed or whatever, you know, and I find it interesting that I, you know, pretty much relied on myself. And I did reach out to a few family members, but they were suffering from the same thing I was suffering from. So I think that of the poor mindset. So I feel like that it wasn't any help
