Singles Love To Give Relationship Advice. Why Doesn’t It Work For Them?

article image placeholderUploaded by @MsColes77
And I often wonder, I'm like, wow, you know, all this advice that we're giving to single people about relationships, how come most of the people giving this advice are not in relationships themselves? Why isn't this advice, this homespun wisdom from a lot of them? How come it's not working in their lives? One thing about me, I look at outcomes

Hey, good morning. Just wanted to give some input on the topic. I'll say, excuse my tone in advance. I'm a little stuffy with allergies. I heard somebody say, single women keep women single, and I believe that to be true. I believe that, you know, you have a group of women, and there's always that one who's, like, the gatekeeper. She's probably the least attractive, the least, or in the most combative or most quarrelsome

I mean, if we look at the example of relationships, if singles should not be giving advice, regardless of how many relationships they've had and what they've learned, and those who've been in a relationship for a long period of time shouldn't be giving advice because they're no longer in the dating world. I guess there's a difference between relationships and dating, but it sounds like whatever the topic is, there's always, inevitably, almost everyone should not be giving advice

And so when it comes to relationship advice or my opinion, you know, I asked, and if you want it, I'm gonna give it to you. And I'm unapologetic and I'm not gonna soften it because of your personal feelings. Sometimes, you know what? You gotta take that, swallow that hard pill. So, yeah, I'm always gonna be up forward and talk about it because that's me

Sure, there are people out there, like I said, who want to see the best for everyone, but most, most of the time, like you said, a lot of singles just want more people on their ship. They just want more folks who are chronically single. And so they're not going to give you any usable advice. They're going to give you some stuff that, you know, is whatever based on their own experience. And I think two

There are so many miserable married people that, you know, I mentioned before, if you've been married a long time, you've been out to dating game, you probably don't know what's up for today. Stay out the conversation. But even when it comes to relationship and marriages, so many of them are so doggone miserable. I said before, I've had more married women try to talk me out of getting married. Girl, enjoy your singleness. Girl, enjoy your space

What qualifies you to give this advice with such confidence? There's always this, don't worry about my relationship status. Don't worry about that. Like, why are you being so secretive about your own relationship experience? But yet you want me to trust your advice? I mean, why should I trust your advice? Why should I give any type of credence to what you're telling me?

@Luchianna

No, ma'am, I don't. I'm learning as I go and I can share what I'm doing and what's working for me, but I can't say it's going to necessarily work for everybody. But the success rate, one of the things that attracted me to this particular plan was that they have a very high success rate

@AnngieKaye

So let me get into this relationship space and try to help my fellow single brothers and sisters find love, because I just need to find some sense of purpose in this. And so they insert themselves into a conversation where you do have a lot of people who are desperately wanting to know, why am I single? How can I meet somebody? How can I make myself more appealing or attractive or desirable? Or how can I work on my conversation skills?
