So I think the techniques that I definitely have thought about and deployed have a lot to do with checking into my own humility, making sure that I don't think my way or the highway, and also asking that question that I ask a lot, which is someone says something really egregious or even offensive and I say, can you tell me more about that? I need to know more. And just that sentence opens up more because it shows I'm curious and it allows me not to have to react
