If we don’t share everything, are we Gatekeeping?

And there's no rhyme or reason to it other than I just don't want you to know. Yeah, you can go buy the same perfume. It won't smell the same on you. We have different phs, right. You may not even like it on yourself, even though you liked it on me. I may never see you again, especially if we're just having a brief encounter in a grocery store. But even if it's someone that I work with or go to church with

That's my unique things, and I don't have to share that with anyone because that's me. Now, when it comes to certain things, I do want to share that. My support group, anytime someone reverses their type two diabetes or manages it very well, or if they found somewhere where we can get our diabetic supplies, there's this one lady. She always says, thank you for sharing that

But other than that, I do agree with gatekeeping on a macro scale. Our government does it, media does it. It happens. We don't know everything that's going on in government, everything that's discussed in government, we don't know. Everything that the media knows about certain situations is, like you said, if they want to present a certain angle or if they want to get you on a certain side of an issue, then they'll present it that way

But if ten other people now look at me funny, was it worth it? And it's all something we have to decide, right? Like, if a woman wanted to share about abortion. Very controversial topic, very private for me, if you ask me. But if she shares it and one person is helped, is it worth it? If now ten people in her circle or her family look at her funny and now she has to deal with them? I don't know

I paid to be a part of the conference. I think I paid like $50 because I wanted to support her. I believe in paying for the thing. And then she also asked me for my feedback, and I gave her my honest feedback on the event. I applauded her for starting a thing, going for it. The platform was very confusing to use

And that goes for anything. I look at people who are like, oh, man, I saved $300 and got cash back on groceries, and I only paid $5. I mean, wouldn't everybody benefit from that, right? Yeah, you may have done a little legwork to figure out the coupons or the deals. Coupons are some of the biggest gatekeepers, people who find deals and stuff like that

But I do like a YouTube video I saw where, you know, these high value men were asked about their careers and how they got started, and they were very open with it. Even on that, I don't know if you follow the page, salary, transparent, street on Instagram but they ask people on the street, what do you do for a living? How much do you make? Do you feel like you're being fairly compensated? How did you get into that field?

You know, I'm still not the perfect eater because there are some things that are questionable for me to eat. But with the Ceylon cinnamon, it's like it keeps things under control. It really does. And it's sad, because in my support group today, someone was just saying that his. What was it? That's no longer covered by his health insurance. It's something that's not covered anymore that should be covered. I don't know if it's his electronic leukemia or
