Breath, Soul, and Consciousness
And so that's what really this got me thinking about just a different layer of connection in terms of a couple of different aspects of Jewish tradition, which is my spiritual tradition and faith background and just some added depth to a couple of key things. The first is that the word for breath in Hebrew is Nishima. And one of the words for soul is Nishama, so Nishima for breath and Nashima for soul. So they share the same root. That's why they sound very similar

I'm breathing into this. I love the integration of breath and soul and speaking and conjuring life into the world in an intentional way. You also did a beautiful swell recently about the connection between Om and Shama, which has a big sort of woven connection to breathing also. So it's all knitting together, this beautiful blanket of awareness that we are so connected, body, mind, spirit, it really soothes me. It's beautiful
