America sending military planes with COVID relief supplies to India

article image placeholderUploaded by @arish
Just saw this on the local News. America is sending covert relief supplies to India. This is a picture of plane plane taking off from Travis Air Force Base in California. They're carrying PPS, oxygen, vaccines and and and other medical supplies. Much needed. And it's great to see these large military planes carrying tons of these supplies quickly to India

Sound clip from the news cast

Travis Air Force Base this afternoon, a giant US military cargo plane took off. It's headed to New Delhi with 125 tons of medical supplies, oxygen cylinders and personal protective equipment. India has seen skyrocketing numbers of coronavirus cases in recent weeks, more than 3600 new cases were reported just yesterday. That the most seen in 24 hours by any country in the world. That was just a clip from the local newscast

Question!

Hey, Arish, thank you for the update. You know, at dinner tonight, I was talking to my grandma about this, and I was trying to explain how dire the situation is. And one of the questions that I was asked, and I really did not know how to answer answer it is why is this happening now, as opposed to throughout the last year? And it's something that I sort of found myself thinking about last year. Why were things not as bad in India?

But just what I have gathered from everything I have been hearing seems to be that last year we had this initial first wave of the pandemic, and there was a lockdown, and people really took precautions to a large extent. And while it was bad, it did not get quite as bad as people had thought it would

I don't know if this is exactly the right term, but how I think about it in the US, like keeping the campaign trail going over, being hyper cautious for the sake of human life, especially when knowing there were these different mutations and things that are even deadlier and that in the last coverage I read are now impacting younger people so like 20s and 30s at a much higher rate than this whole past year previously, which is just so distressing and upsetting to not have only gone through what we all went through globally over this past year

But it's really following infectious disease experts from all over the world and talking about them knowing the next pandemic was coming and were not prepared for it and what they tried to do as best as they can, without much support, to try to prevent these diseases from spreading and help people as much as possible

And that's why there is a spike in a number of cases in India. And for now, the most affected area is New Delhi and Mahara's Truck. And yes, we lack supplies of raw materials and oxygen ventilators and all kinds of things. That's why America and other individuals are helping us out to overcome the situation. And I hope for the good thank you for sharing this stuff

As you know, in India again, they are starting to put the lockdown everywhere and mostly for now they are including the night curfews. And I think if the cases are in surge means they would have probably including the weakness curve views or not. So the main thing is we should be so safe and that's the point. And if the lockdown has been announced means most of the daily wages people will be get affected

Let's hope for the best🤞

It would come and pass away. But nothing's going to happen. But that negligence has increased the effect of this pandemic a lot. And all the other gatherings that I mentioned earlier has also amplified this at a very high rate because people gathered shoulder to shoulder for at least about more than $10,000. I don't know the exact count, but you can imagine there were masses of people everywhere
