Wait! Was I wrong about Weight! What we thought about Our Metabolism

article image placeholderWhat We Think We Know About Metabolism May Be Wrong
Hello. It's Deborah here on a Friday in the middle of August. I'm not thinking about my weight, but I just read an article about weight, so I wanted to post it here New York Times. Wow. They are getting into it. What's metabolism? What's the big myth about? Oh, my metabolism stops working well in my 20s and 30s and 40s, I'm going to gain weight. It's actually not true

Measuring metabolism and my learnings

As the article says at the end of the day, it's still an equation of calories in calories out as to weight gain and weight loss. Now I think it's important to note that metabolism does change. It changes, and I've done measurements throughout the years, and it will change. But it's great to know that age is not a factor in that change. And that tells me, as I said, I can really start to focus in on the things that really do matter
