US Capitol under lockdown
Just saw the breaking news that the US capital is under lockdown and a suspect is in custody and two Capital police officers have been injured. And there's some ambulance and stretcher at the Capitol as well. I wanted to post this year here and keep this open for running commentary as this news develops

Just following up on this. I'm going to post the Washington Posts review of what's going on as of 03:00 Pacific Time. I'm sure there's a lot more information. This is just what I'm reading right now. And William Evans, an 18 year old or veteran police officer, was killed. So that's what's going on really upset and tragic. And we're fortifying the perimeter of this capital. But it doesn't seem to be enough
