This move by the Modi government is seen as in preparation for the up elections with the objective of alleviating the concern of farmers in Western Mother Pradesh, which is the epic centre of the farmer protests at last demo has one probably with a little help from electoral politics, of course

Electoral Politics have won not the farmers👳👳👳💦

So I've personally been into this. I've read through all these laws and they have see all things have positive and negative. Right. So just by seeing the negative, we cannot oppose everything. Right. So that is what has happened here. There has been a lot of benefits because of these laws. But as you said, electoral politics have finally went or one I will not say farmers have one. It is electoral politics have one for farmers

Negotiation and making amends to the law would've been better!

As for the people blindly supporting the farmers who are protesting, like he said, it's not just the poor farmers who are actually protesting. It is a lot of middlemen and people who can afford to actually take this break because I heard other people talk about this issue and they said if a person is an actual farmer who works on the fields, they simply cannot afford to leave their farm for such a prolonged time that this protest has been going on

Appeasement politics at play, obviously

Yeah, those are my honest thoughts. I personally feel they shouldn't have been completely rolled back. Further negotiations probably could have been done. Or maybe the States that were okay with the Farm Laws Act could have still gone ahead and implemented while the others could have negotiated and come up with amended laws for certain States

Thank you, Karthik, Shaz and Ramya for responding. And you know, they each of you have brought in some fresh perspectives. I must say that I think according to and E, the failure has been in terms of getting a consensus on something as important as this and affecting farmers across India. Yes. If it was misunderstood, then definitely it was miscommunicated. Also right. And I think that could have probably been right from the start, from where the idea came up
