Mother Nature granted legal entity by Madras High Court
The past generations have handed over Mother Earth to us in its pristine glory, and we are morally bound to hand over the same Mother Earth to the next generation. Therefore, this court might in mocking parents battery or jurisdiction is hereby declaring Mother Nature as a living being, having legal entity, legal person, juristic person, moral person, artificial person, having the status of a legal person with all corresponding rights, duties and liabilities of a living person in order to preserve and conserve them
In fact, such cases make me almost wonder whether the court or the government is even clear as to what sustainable development actually means.
