My first question is, how did the genesis of NCTL come about?

Also we know that in every organization there are winning teams and teams which are underperforming. I also observed that members from underperforming teams are many a times eager to join the learning teams. And I always wondered as to why when the organization has the same policies, reward and recognition systems and resources the same for all the teams, winning teams are still the winning teams. What is different there?

How does NCTL help teams stay on the learning curve

Learning and transformation are interlinked. How does the NCTL framework help in Motivating teams to stay on the learning curve not just with regard to industry trends, but also with regard to understanding and working with each other?

And this very hope motivates team members to demonstrate team learning behaviors. We also know whatever gets measured gets improved. NCTL framework gives team an opportunity to assess the team climate parameters and indicate the direction to what needs to change within the team members to demonstrate behaviors which will create and sustain nurturing climate

NCTL - at what stage of the organizational growth

Typically. At what stage of growth should organizations consider imbibing the NCTL approach? Can startups, for example, also benefit from it?

You. Thank you, Srija, for bringing in Bhat dimension of stages of teams. As I said, collective discovery is at the very heart of NCTL, whichever stage the team may be. Awareness and discovery of collective learning behaviors is what helps the team to take corrective actions and go forward towards their goal. The teams may have different challenges while transitioning through different phases, but learning is a continuous process and NCTL holds that. I hope I have answered your questions, Rija. Thank you

In my practice, what helped me was holding big picture conversations, having meaningful agenda for collective reflections. Also, enrolling every person's voice in the team and having a process for that. Also, never ever doubt the capabilities of the team that you lead. An NCTL gives you the agenda and the framework for meaningful collective reflections. This also helps team members to find the sense of purpose. Thank you, Srija, for wonderful questions and a great conversation. Thank you so much

Thank you for this very interesting interview, Dr. Bhat. And thank you, Shija. I just had a comment. I think that it's very interesting to note how teams can really come together to learn and then end up uplifting each other in the process while working towards a common goal and adopting a holistic approach. I think people feel a lot more connected and motivated when such an approach is undertaken. So it really was interesting to hear your insights. Dr

Thank you so much, Drkalindi. Bhat, for this very insightful conversation. It is good to know that organizations can focus on learning at any stage and rather must make a concerted effort to foster such an environment that is conducive and will help in team building the I of learning together. Visa vis individual upskilling alone is very interesting. Really appreciate your perspectives. Thank you so much
