The letter C

I've been thinking a lot about letter C in the English Alphabet. It's pretty much replaceable by either S or K. Depending on how the word is pronounced. The only place swear it might be difficult would be for words like Church and Chapel, but we can choose to spell them with S and change the pronunciation just a little bit and completely do away with the letter C from the Alphabet. There'll be more room on the keyboard

You can’t unsee a C #philosophy

So I would beg unless there's like a world war where there needs to be the B next to the D, who might not get along. By the way, they might hate each other because they almost look alike. One has a belt and one doesn't. There might be a problem. Although, listen, I love revolution and change, you know, Occupy Wall Street go for it, change everything. But in this case, the C, it's hard to unsee a sea

I remember looking into the letter C when I took Turkish in College. And in the Turkish language, C has a ceiling or Cadillac on the bottom of the C. So a little hook on the bottom of the C, and it's actually pronounced with a J sound. And that got me thinking, why does this C represent so many different things here and in the English language? I couldn't tell how it actually came to origin

@phil

Hey, Phil, that's an amazing insight into the use of letter C. I had never thought about use of CNK together in words and what impact it has on pronunciations. Although I still have my doubts. But thank you. Thank you so much for sharing

@sudha

Hi Sudha that's a very good idea, although I'm hoping that the pronunciation should not change much, but that's only me

I was feeling very much behind this challenge. However, I realized that without the letter C, Cookie monster wouldn't exist because C is for cookie and

Although I guess you could call him Shookie Monster and also Sh for Shookie, which is also pretty great. So would love to hear what a poll on this is Cookie or Shookie better

So the basic idea, the letter C. C is not as useful in pronunciation as compared to the other letters. So that's why it has to be removed from the Alphabet. Well, I'm really happy that my parents don't share a similar sentiment because if something has to stay in a group based on usefulness, then my sister and I would have been kicked out of our homes a really long time ago
