Self publish?

Good morning, everyone. I have a very interesting question for any of you writers out there. I have finished my manuscript. I'm in the revisions part of it, and I'm wondering how the best way to get published is. Is it better to get self published or to go and try and find a publisher? I am a new writer, so this may give you some ideas. Okay? Thank you

Self publishing, or getting a traditional book publisher

But I have read now, this is just something I have read. I don't know whether it's true or not, but I have read that publishing on Amazon, they tend to take more than what they say they take and that the writer does not get a fair deal. Now, I am skeptical of Amazon for that reason, because a few people have said that and no more than one person. I mean, I'm talking to a lot of people

You. Thank you. I really appreciate your advice and your suggestions. It is a book. It's about 50,000 words right now, and it's a psychological thriller, so I'm hoping that there is a market for it. I will definitely book into everything because I think that's smart. And I thank you again for your advice

Thank you for responding to me. I will definitely look that up, because I don't know where to go right now, and I need as much advice as I can possibly get. It is finished, pretty much. It's about 50,000 words. It's a psychological thriller, and so I'm hoping that there is a market for it out there. But I do appreciate you giving me that hashtag and that information, and I will look into it. Have a great day. Bye

Self publish or get an agent!

As far as self publishing goes, it's pretty straightforward. You're paying for everything, which means that you're also going to have to market it yourself. So you're going to need to have some good places that you can try and market the book to make sales. It's difficult to just rely on the algorithm and people just choosing your book for whatever reason. It's much easier to have a place where you can kind of push that out

That is all really good advice. Thank you so much for that. Have you ever heard of Dorance Publishing? They have reached out to me. So I want to know if you've or anybody's had any contact with them or have have worked with them

So when they get the rights, they handle all of that, from my understanding. And then you get your percentage. How much and how that goes, I'm still unsure. So if this Doris Publishing has any of those answers, I also would be very interested to find out a little bit more about them. So thank you for sharing that here. I think this is fantastic. What a great spot to get some information like this
