Everything that they had tried to do to try to get her to come out with the induction process, the pertopsin and the different drugs that they use, everything was aggravating her. And so ultimately they decided, since my water had broken, to risk infection. To minimize their risk of infection. I just had a cesarean and you have to have an epidural for that. Well, it makes you so groggy that when people are engaging with you, you don't really know how to answer questions

When I explained to her what had happened, she was like, that is very rare that your baby was able to latch on that late. You're talking about five weeks after delivery. She was like, I have a class this evening. Ends at 08:30 p.m.. And I don't like to restrict or limit a mom to just one option, right? But I do believe that it's very important that we know the truth when it comes to breastfeeding. And we know the truth when it comes to formula, right? Let's be honest. Black moms and black baby, black moms, excuse me, and black babies are the ones that are targeted when it comes to formula companies. We are. And why is that?

But I got through it somehow. It was just a crazy experience. I will say that after I recovered from that, I did start to notice that my milk supply was a little bit off. And apparently it happens when you have a hungry baby or one who I mean, I called my daughter to this day much because it was just never ending
