And that's where my yoga path take another step. And it's about the knowledge of the self. So my path started to be an inquiry towards myself, towards my life and how that will transform. And that's what I'm working in today. And that's my life journey. I want to know myself, to be able to know this unity with the divine and to be able to help others with daily pains or with life situations or with their yoga paths

So I went to a yoga teacher and he gave me some tools, and I started doing that practice, practicing with mindfulness. And the most important, and what makes it integral is that I started putting kindness and compassion to me in the practice. I was able to feel myself, I was able to take care of myself. And that, I think, was the most important part of my path because I understood this

Of course, the state of alert in myself is so high, Diane, I'm explosive. But at that time I didn't knew that. So in these 15 years when I went to the yoga class, and then after that, when I took care of my back pain with yoga, all that experiences helped me to say, yoga is my path, yoga is my path. This is what I want to do. Something was like pulling myself through yoga

And every time now that I practice or I put myself to meditation or to chanting, I have this idea that I'm not being in the rush of my mind, I'm not allowing my mind to control myself, that it's in that moment of practice that I allowed myself, my true self, to command the mind, to command the mind to be more still because the self is guiding me in what to do in Asana practice or to do chanting or meditation

You. I would love to share some recommendations that have helped me a lot with my life and with my practice. The first one is stop being in a rush. Stop over pushing for perfection. The second one will be have discipline, yes, but don't be rigid. Allow yourself to change your practice, your sadhana if you need it. Practice with kindness and compassion towards yourself and develop these qualities of the heart to others. Let your heart melt in practice
