Should you Boomerang?

And with growing talent crunch and multiple other issues, companies are left with no choice than to look at former employees. Keeping that in mind, I think Howard Business Review did a small study to understand if Boomerang employees were actually living up to the assumptions that new age employers have. So the findings are quite opposite to the general belief of what rehiring can bring to the company. And there are three important findings that I like to share with you

Hey, Vikram, thank you so much for that's. Well, really enjoyed it. And it was enlightening. I always thought that rehiring necessarily means an improvement in skills on the part of the employee that's been brought back. So it's really interesting to hear your take my question for you is really quite simple. Do you think this is sector specific, or do you think it applies broadly because I'm guessing in certain sectors, rehiring makes a lot more sense than sort of upskilling. Right

Thank you for your response, i have tried answering your wuestion

Hi, Karim, thank you for listening to my first swell, and it's really amazing that I got the first feedback also. So on your question, I don't think it's a sector specific thing. It's a sector like the research has been done across, I think to a lot sectors. So in most places, this is a common trend. And I don't think given companies have gone back and check the records to check if this is the case

Hey, Vikram, thank you so much for this insightful. Swell. It was very interesting to know all of this because I had never thought about Boomerang employees in the way that you just shared, because as you said, there's always something taboo around people who leave a company and then come back. So as you said, they are kind of branded as disloyal or not trustworthy. So this was very interesting to know

Don’t people leave managers? And not companies...

And it's later that way you start interacting with people with the team, with your superiors and then understand how much of this that ethos is actually playing into your day to day work. And I think work relationships also come into the picture. So this is a very complicated question, I think for me to be able to really answer
