The world bog, bog, bog snorkeling championship held. Hear about it at Urban Legends and Stranger truths. Competitors have donned their snorkels and flippers for the return of the World Bog Snorkeling Championship in Powis. The event takes place annually at the Weigh in Rid Peat bog in Landward Wells, England, where competitors try to compete on two consecutive lengths of a 60 yard water filled trench which is cut through a peak bog to the shortest possible time

Like, taking the water from where you just peeled potatoes in and putting that in, and it showed somebody, like, coughing and gagging as they came up for air. And that's exactly how I kind of pictured this. I thought, man, that sounds disgusting. It sounds terrible. I'm sure it's foul smelling, and I can't imagine wanting to snorkel in that water whatsoever. And that's exactly what I saw from the video

Something I probably should have mentioned was that this is done as a fundraiser, but also that it is sponsored in part by a healthcare community called Awakenings. And thus, going into these bogs, you are suffering from a rude awakenings, which is where they got the name for their Bog swim competition. Thank you for your comments. I really appreciate it
