And on the subject, US and India talks this week will focus on the country that isn't in the room, and again, that is China. The US secretaries of state and defense are due in New Delhi to discuss trade, visa issues and clean energy with their Indian counterparts, and then to meet with Indian Prime Minister Narenda Modi. The overriding topic is, however, expected to be the security cooperation between their joint concerns over perceived growing Chinese aggressions

Yeah, well, like I said, China essentially isn't going to be getting an ally, many allies, if any at all, until they change these politics. Whereas India. Well, it has some very strong challenges, but it has the potential to do a lot more than it's doing now

First, the first thought that came to mind was, I fear that the United States will continue to have cooling ties between and among India, China and potentially other countries if the United States doesn't realize that there is a need to encourage education of the critical languages that are spoken in India and China. Whereas in this country there is such sort of a turning away of the value of learning language, whereas in India and China, English is taught

And there is so much about America that other countries love and admire in our culture overall. And if you ever travel to any foreign country, if you stop and ask somebody, even in the most rudimentary of accents or language, in their own language, whether it be French or Spanish or Russian or Japanese or whatever language you choose, if you attempt to ask them a question in their own language, it is the greatest compliment that you can give to someone. And I personally have experienced this many times

They're more about acquiring other people's ideas, thoughts and technologies, making it their own, and then turning around and just multiproducting what they're doing and expanding in their own economy. So I don't really think they much care one way or the other about the rest of the world, except for the fact that I think that they would like to expand their domination
