What is the Metaverse to you? A 'product' or a 'place'?

But as brands increasingly treated as a whole separate market, if I may call it that, where they launch specific products for this realm of computer generated extended reality and creators develop experiences for their new audience, the meta verse is going to evolve to to mean way more to you and me. Let's see how this all pans out

@shortswithsapna at this point, its more marketing buzz than real value for end users

What I find surprising is that people look at us, something new is being invented or something new has happened. And it isn't. It's just the same online games, online worlds that have been created by different application products. I think from Facebook's perspective, they will be offering a specific version of the metabolic, which is their kind of social experience where you go and hang out. But there are other companies that offer that as well

@arish

So Irish, it's very interesting that you say that. You know, your perspective is consistent with a third way to describe the meta verse that I am seeing increasingly popular among experts in the field. So the meta verse neither as as a product or a place but as a moment in evolution or as a point in time that is consistent with this third way of describing the meta verse is consistent with some of the things you are saying

My thought on this is simple most easy cases for meetings which people are considering I am fine with that and other than that maybe max and R per day max just like gaming I think it's maximum R per day the time you need to spend on something like this but people are thinking other way especially the ones who are developing it the Meta they are taking it in a different way and same can be said for the brands which are with methods it's more of an issue for me than a place to stay that's what I feel because at the end of the day it's not real

@pradeepmalar

That remains to be seen. But thank you so much, Pradeep. I think your perspective is very real, if I may call it that, and very, very helpful in shaping this. I also see that you, like many others, would also like to discuss the distinction between artificial and real as well as between AR and VR and another swell

Metaverse itself as a definition will undergo a seismic change with the advent of newer technology, with the advent of new use cases, and so on and so forth. Have you reached there right now? Are we on the right track? It's too early to call. In my view, we have to give it another five, seven years, especially when the IoT angle kicks in and that becomes a mega reality, which seems more plausible
