Many of you may not know this, but I am a podcaster and I have a podcast. And thanks to Luciana and her bravery today to promote herself, thought I'd dust off the old marketing prowess and promote myself once more. I actually have an episode that I did somewhat recently, this was about maybe a month ago and it was talking about the fate of anchor as a podcasting platform. And I like to talk right now some reasons why you probably would want to listen to my podcast

But yes, I've been doing podcasters forum roughly six years, something like that. And I've been doing social audio apps for maybe 1314 years, and I've been doing audio chat rooms probably for about 20 years, something like that. So I've been around and I've been recording music and stuff maybe 2025 years, something along those lines. So I'm quite familiar with audio gear and all that sort of stuff. But yeah, hopefully this helps

Yeah, thanks for responding. I do have a desktop. I'm actually a Mac user. I have a Mac desktop. I have a MacBook Pro because clearly I use Apple products. I do have an audio interface. The last microphone that I had, I believe it was an analog mic. So my friend, he told me that I should use a digital mic. But it's an audio mic. I plug it into my audio I'm sorry, analog mic

And once you use it enough and you kind of get used to editing your audio and all that s*** with like a doll. Like something like GarageBand or Audacity or something along those lines. Then you work your way up because if you try to get into it with professional gear or something sort of a bit more professional. You can run the risk of just not knowing what to do and it could frustrate your audio process. So I went through a lot of that myself

And one of the things I'm going to do, I guess I can make that an original post, but I am going to skip ad revenue because you have to center yourself to get ads and to get monetization that way. And I don't want to do that, but that's a whole different conversation. It anyway, but thanks again for the support

But yeah, I'm stuck on the quality of the microphone one because, like I said, I do play around with music, but at the same time, for me, like you said, it's a preferential thing. I want to sound really good, but I'm grateful for the tools that I do have so I can still do what I need to do

So you're used to sound, you're used to messing with the EQ and the master recordings. You said you're starting to learn to master and EQ and all that stuff. So that's cool because that's going to help you out immensely. Because then you get into things like adding what am I thinking about here? Compression. Adding compression to your audio so you can get your voice louder, but at the same time it's not peaking to where it can clip the audio
