And it's the true joy that I experience now is because of all those failures. And I think it's like the science universe keeps us delivering with and we just have to pay attention and understand, open our mind to receiving messages. And especially I am one who like to listen to my inner voice. So I generally pay attention to how my body speaks to me, maybe in the form of intuition or in the form of physical pain. I think these are all signals from the universe

So I was struggling big time, but I was coping up with fairly and I had pretty much a bit of success. So by the end of the financial year in March, we have this appraisal. So I was expecting a mediocre appraisal, not an excellent so my big boss came there on that day before, the day before where all our results had coming out and he said good job, you will do well, and all those motivation things again

I'm continuing that, Rajat, because I don't want to do it halfway. Finally, I used to make sure that I took this boss of mine, the big boss, to many of my meetings. I wanted to prove a point to him that I'm no dumb head. And he started seeing a lot of things which he never knew about me. And exactly after six months, he offered me the role of a branch manager

Hi Pritiji. Thank you so much for sharing such an encouraging and inspiring story. You have inspired me for the rest of the day. Thank you so much. In your situation, you had two choices to make. One was to quit the thankless organization, which didn't give you the recognition for your hard work. Or the second one was to stay back, hold your ground and prove yourself right. It not to prove your boss wrong, but prove yourself right

Now this pattern has to be replaced. And there is where I think the self worth comes into picture. If you are worthy, if you know your self worth, then there is no stopping you from going on your path alone. That's what I feel. And if you know your self worth, you do not need to be validated by somebody else and you do not need to be wanted by somebody else

And this is the reason of the misery that we create for people around us, for each other. Let us consider it like marathon race, okay? So in a marathon, it's a long distance run where you have to test every nerve and sinew of your own body, of your own mind in order to just finish the race. It's not about winning from somebody else or the person on the side. It's about simply finishing the race

They are absolutely okay with a failed attempt. They're absolutely okay that they are making a mistake. I find some people, they laugh it out, okay? And you see it in offices, you see it in corporate offices, what kind of environment it is

Hi Pragati. Thank you so much for taking out your valuable time to share your thoughts, your ideas and your experiences on this thread. Sincerely appreciate that. I took some time to ponder upon your thought process and that's the reason I am replying this thread later than the other swellers. And there's a reason behind it. I just wanted to reflect upon the essence of the discussion I wanted to create here. The whole idea of this discussion was the conflict between the heart and the mind

That means the rights that women have over the property in the family. And it's also connected to the Hindu code bill where we have the Mitakshara Law, which also covers this. So that's it. You can look up the Internet for more details on this. Now, coming to your response, I really appreciated the way you connected the pencil's bluntness and the sharpness with whether it has been used or not

And let's say if we fail in that, how are we going to cope with it? And this is the way I'm going to respond. This is the way you're going to respond. So great to know that you are traveling, you're going in the right direction and meeting more and more creative people, open minded people, because when we know how to accommodate, when we know how to celebrate our failures, your work becomes a celebration because you're not bothered

I don't want to give up and I don't really make it bog me down because I know that this is there because of a particular reason, because life wants me to grow, wants me to learn, wants me to become wiser. So a failure, small, big, bad, worse or worse, it's always there because there is a purpose for it. So I think the best thing to do is to face it head on. Thank you so much for sharing this. Bye

So these are the two things that used to come in my mind, whatever I do. So, basically, when I was in school, like right from starting till the end, I was the first ranker of the school. I was actively participating in everything. And then even in 10th, in every exam, I was the topper. And when it came to the last final exam, I was the second. I really couldn't believe it because I felt like I missed everything in my life

Hi, Rajat. Good morning. Well, you know, I'm dealing with the worst failure in my life right now. And I'm still trying to deal with it. I'm still trying to rise from it. I'm still trying to not let it break me. And you know it all. So let's say. Let's just hope that I have a wonderful story to narrate after I am done with this phase once I settle it all down
