(Poem) The Riddle of Strider by J.R.R. Tolkein

article image placeholderUploaded by @tra_jake
The Riddle of Strider written by J-R-R. Tolkien all that is gold does not glitter not all those who wander are lost the old that is strong does not wither. Deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken a light from the shadows shall spring renewed shall be blade that was broken the crownless again shall be king

A reading of the poem written by J.R.R. Tolkein originally written for The Fellowship of the Ring

@r.o

It's absolutely my pleasure to share. I think a lot of folks are familiar with Tolkien's work through adaptations, but unfortunately, I feel like a lot of us, myself included, up until rather recently, I hadn't really read much of his books in fourth grade. I actually did try to read, um, the Fellowship of the Ring after the movies came out. It was such a such a huge part of my life, and it just struck a chord with me
