Self Care and Resistance

Really it's really just about making this decision and this commitment to establishing a holistic health and wellness hygiene where they get ready to go on this journey of establishing a consistent meditation practice, a consistent plant based practice, a consistent body weight strength training practice, a consistent nervous system regulation practice, which is what I do in my holistic health and wellness bundles. All of a sudden this energy of resistance comes up that I have to find myself speaking to

They want to step into of self care and of self worth and of self love. And it's sometimes really the first step is to actually pay actual money because then it's a different kind of investment where you're using resources to invest in yourself and it's very moving and very confrontational. And I think that's a very interesting part of being a practitioner is you have to confront that with somebody each time the path sort of gets that fork in the road where there has to be an investment made

And so it's almost like they get to the edge of the pool on a very hot summer's day and they know that the replenishment is right in front of them, but they, for some reason, are caught up in thinking they have other responsibilities other than nourishing and quenching their desire to be refreshed in that water. So they might touch their toe in the water, and then they'll go back and, oh, I got to go clean the house

I am looking more into incorporating more like magnesium into my system, ashwagandha, green salts and just, just eating more healthy healthier. So I'm starting from the inside doing that and I just recently started that. So it's funny that I'm even coming across this conversation right now. But yeah, self care to me, I've been intentional about doing that now. And you made some really good points in your conversation that I want to touch on

But in the interim, we have to start somewhere with self care, especially with the climate of the world today, just situations that we deal with in life, whether it be business or personal, we as humans have to take some time out for self care. It's no longer about killing yourself for the work week and spending 80, 90 hours at work
