Four of them they tried with three, and they seem to have had better results in this experiment. So read the paper, which is linked below, and it is truly exciting work. But the risk and things that can go wrong are equally scary, straight out of Sci-Fi horror scenarios. So I think there's a long way to go before any of this makes it near a human but exciting work Nevertheless

Starfish of my youth

I don't think I tore any limbs off for the experiments, but I could be that person. I don't remember being that person. I think it was more just waiting for things to grow from injured starfish, which there were many of on the shore. But this is such incredible information about the correlation between this area of the body and how it can be applied to other organs and things like that. So thanks for posting. Really, really interesting
