Your Labor Day Weekend?

article image placeholderColorado Springs 1972
Except I think it is. I think they're in this one. All right. How are you spending your Labor Day? I hope it's safe. Oh, as the footnote. If you're listening to one, your 60 degree or so is about 15 to 16 degrees centigrade here. And that's shirt sleeve weather. We Max out around 75 degree Fahrenheit. So when I see in the car, that's 23 to 25 centigrade outside, which would put us in the mid 70s

Labor Day weekends . . . .

Well, my Labor Day weekend that's coming up here. I will be right where I'm at right now at my undisclosed location, doing a variety of things that need to be done on. And it's sort of a late Labor Day, because normally, if you look at it, it's going to be what today's the third 4th will be the 7th and 8th, I guess, or something like that next week

Well, I'll most likely be doing nothing because COVID the dark taker of All Good Things has had all of our local festivals canceled. Things that we would sometimes do on the Labor Day weekend are not even optional this year, so I got no real plans. If anything, we'll probably end up if friends have any kind of a cookout or something, maybe we'll go over into that. I need people to take care of my needs. I'm not having a cookout

Kentucky Derby!

Big thing for me this weekend is the Kentucky Derby that is actually running this weekend. It's usually in May. I'm usually there and this year it was neither. So it has been moved from May to this weekend. I think it's been kind of lost in the shuffle, but it is running this weekend with no fans. There will not be any fans there, but it will be a full race day. And I will be completely glued in all day

And it's all happening. I'm sure at least one entry from Ireland will be at the Kentucky Derby, and it will be probably a horse trained by Agent O'Brien. So now I got to look at that. See if that's actually true. They go over there. They find these horses to Dubai and to England. I'm sure there's somebody already been in Kentucky for the last two weeks. Yeah. Enjoy the runs

I don't think they have anything in the Derby this year, but John Magneer, he has won the Derby before. He won it with Thunder Gulch, him and John Tabor. I believe they were Thunder Gulch. That was 1995, and I believe that's his big Derby win. But I know they've been trying to breed a Derby winter, and they eventually will get there
