Many of her stories were fabricated, but I'm quite sure this one was not, though it probably never came to pass. Or at least I hope so. It was something that it gave her great pleasure to relate to me. Both my husbands were of the same ilk, first in the issue of my weight, harping on it while force feeding me pizza, pasta, and pastries, then making me feel like a whale when I indulged

And do you think Nietzsche would ever think he would be hanging out with Kelly Clarkson? What a great story. And sometimes we have to do things just to prove people wrong. But that's not the only motivation, obviously, in this one. Thank you for sharing this. And it's an inspiration to all of us to know that sometimes you've got to name it and be okay with the fact that some people aren't big enough to celebrate our magnificence
