Random thoughts and observations from my dark and confused mind. Don’t be afraid, probably just as dark and confused as yours. 😉

To Fame or Not to Fame: What Would You Choose?

article image placeholderUploaded by @HeatherR
What are some of the positives that you think would go along with fame that I haven't thought of? And what are some of the things that would be negative about being famous that I haven't thought of? And ultimately, if you had a button in front of you, super famous or not famous at all, super famous comes with all of the benefits, but also everything else that goes along with it. What would you choose right now? Which button would you push?

If given the free choice, would you choose to be a superstar?

Or not act like they never had to wash their own car, wash your own clothes, or eat at a restaurant that they wouldn't normally eat at now that they have money, or go to the places that they used to go or shop on a bargain wrap because now they got money. So fame does not mean common sense. And clearly some of the people do not follow common sense and not mindful. They're oblivious to what's happening. And it's up to the public

I wasn't the one that had to spend that money for him to still have the same stance that he did not like it. Yeah. What I'm trying to say is what I hear about Disney is that Disney is magical. That is pure magic. And one day I will go. I'm sure it's not on the priority high on the priority list

Hey, thank you for applying to this. Yeah. You brought up so many, like, things that I never even considered. For one thing, you know, if you were famous, you would engage in sort of a responsibility on how to behave and what to do with your money and your fame and kind of the idea of not putting yourself out there purposely in the way that some people do. I thought that was really interesting

So the story that you told there at the end about Michelle Obama just wanting to go to Target or wanting to watch the fireworks and not even being able to do so without causing some sort of ruckus and letting people know where she's at. And also just the idea. Too. That you brought up that she did her best with the situation. But then there's always going to be that public scrutiny

And I'm like, no, I don't know her. Why do you all keep saying that? And it'll be funny to have people wondering, olive, is he famous? Because that's kind of how fame works, right? I mean, yeah, we have social media now and we can track fame a lot better, but it still follows the same principle. If you're the most popular of something, you instantly have some sort of status. You're credible

And so there's a lot of artists and writers and people directors who are behind the scenes who have a lot of fame and may even have awards to signify their fame, but people don't recognize their faces as readily as we recognize, say, the Kardashians, for example. Another thing I had to be careful with about this discussion is separating status and wealth, because I would love to be able to just jump on a plane and go anywhere in the world. I would love that
