Song of the Day: Moving in Stereo

article image placeholderUploaded by @tjh
I feel like I'm committing some kind of musical crime and I don't really know why. I guess the reason I feel this way is for some reason I associate the band that did the song that's going to be our Song of the Day. For some reason, I associate this band with Summertime. In fact, every summer, right at the beginning of summer, I pull out all of their CDs and I listen to them throughout the summer over and over again

Nice!

Thank you for this awesome song of the day. I'm a huge Cars fan, really big Rick Ocasic fan. And I totally get that some songs are just associated with certain times. Sometimes it's when we first hear it. Sometimes it's what the lyrics or the melody might even suggest. Is it tight as the ethereal, all of that stuff? But yeah, for me, Cars is definitely more summary. That's not to say I can't rock out to it all year round

Rediscovered!

And I thought that move only accelerated with the release of Shake It Up and then accelerated with Heartbeat City as well. And I didn't enjoy those albums as much. I really didn't like those albums at all. And I'm sorry. I know you mentioned Heartbeat City. I just was not a fan of that. And it just kind of made me shy away from the Cars altogether. And then about five years ago, I kind of rediscovered The Car's first album and Candyo
