They may flare up if you're facing a lot of changes, stress, or demands in your life. Although avoiding situations that produce anxiety may make you feel better in the short term, your anxiety is likely to continue over the long term if you don't get treatment. Whereas people with social anxiety, they can be an introvert or an extrovert overt and the social anxiety is becoming in their way with everyday life tasks. So that was a great way of putting it and I just thought I would add that here. Thanks

I isolated for over ten years, making up excuses not to go out with friends, making up excuses not to see friends, not to see family. It really got ugly, it really got dark, and it really got lonely. Isolation is nothing to laugh about, nothing to take lightly when you hear people talk about it. I wish people would understand a little bit more about invisible illnesses and realize we can't judge them
