Hey there, everyone. I'm back again with some more talk about Mr. Carter himself. Woodson, the father of black history, they would call him that, was born on December 19, 1875, in New Canton, Virginia, USA. Right. So like it before. And then also on another young woman that swell that is on here, she spoke of how there was some talk of saying that black history, american black history, wasn't about black people in America

And one thing that I wanted to point out about Berea College and how this is significant in what became known as Negro History Week with Berea College. Berea College was the first college in the south to co educate the sexist and the racist. So there was a long period of time where black people. I mean, I'm sorry, the genders, male and females, could not be educated in the same room, in the same school. So Berea College was very audacious back in the late 18 hundreds
