And most people meet people like you under extreme duress, and they're not able to have the grace to ask questions that I think you probably can answer about so many aspects of emergency service and the whole world of first responders and what you know and what you do and what you'd like to see us know more about, to be more prepared, to be more helpful for situations where you come in
Sorry about that. Pain meds used to be withheld from patients and still, I was just talking about this the other day. Some doctors withhold a lot of pain meds in the hospital. And us, as flight crews, we just give it away. We're just giving it because our goal is to have the patient pain free. Just because they're paralyzed or sedated doesn't mean they're pain free. You might see a tear coming out of their eye when they're on conscious

And I feel like someone like you coming to my aid. I probably feel both. And I, and I guess my next question, and I don't know, I keep on asking questions, but maybe you do want to do a new swell about some of these questions just to fill your swell cast up. But if we're going for it, I wanted to ask you about this whole concept of pain with regard to what people do when they haven't called you yet
Now, there's pain clinics. Florida has a bunch of pain clinics. They monitor what they're giving you and understand that it's a huge study now. But like I said, again, some of the old school doctors, if you ask for something for pain, they might not give it to you. But I'm just very blunt. Like, look, yes, I'm a flight paramedic. I know what I'm doing. But this does not work for me

I listened to your story, and I just wanted to reply to it. I actually work for a really wonderful company called Mission Barbecue, and we actually serve those who serve us, our first responders, paramedics, emts, firefighters, police officers, and our active military and our veterans. So I think AGM is fantastic. I work with a lot of retired emts and firefighters that actually, and military that come in to work in our restaurant, and our mission is just such a wonderful thing
