Balance. I believe there has to be a balance in our profession. To be successful, we have to fly a little close to the sun with our personalities for the wax to drip a bit, but not enough to fall. It's the only way anyone is respected and successful in this profession

I always have. I always push it. I've always erred on the side of my patient. I've always been aggressive with my patient's treatments. Went up against doctors one on one in the ER. You know, they do not scare me. So it's just like, this is what I did. This is what needed to be done. Was I right? Sure. Was I wrong? Absolutely
