The necessity of music therapy?
I was in an IEP actually, this morning, and I had the pleasure of meeting a music therapist. Now, what's interesting to me is I have always incorporated some sort of music or musical lessons throughout the different lessons I've done with my special needs students. And I never knew this was actually a separate specialty, right. I just kind of incorporated it throughout different ways

It's just a shame when we choose to stay ignorant, for lack of a better word. Really sad. I am so pleased to hear that you're doing this. Being a neuro health practitioner, I also incorporate music therapy when I'm coaching people, because we all need it. We all need a break and I applaud what you're doing. Good luck in. Keep going. Bye
Hi, Antonia. Thank you so much for your very, very kind reply. I agree with you. Music is just phenomenal, and it just does so much for so many thanks for your insights. I always love hearing what people have to say and encouraging them to leave their thoughts in the discussion. So thank you. I really appreciate it, and I hope all is well with you. Bye

And it's something that I definitely feel like if I pulled back through some of my playlists that I've created for myself that I could also replicate. And I think anybody could do that of just having certain songs that resonate with them, that bring back certain memories during their life and can just help to encapsulate the feelings that they were going through. So, definitely, yeah, I would say music has a wonderful power and it's something that should be tapped into
Hey, Kayla. Sorry it took me a few days to get back to you. It's been one of those weeks. But, yeah, music therapy and just music are so freaking amazing. I love it on so many levels. So, yes, I am definitely going to keep advocating for this and pushing for it because it's something I feel is extremely necessary. Hope all is well with you. Thanks. Bye
