The soul of improptu ( for those like me who never had "self" esteem)

article image placeholderUploaded by @TheBriefOne
And forgive me, I am actually going impromptu, so forgive me for the pauses, but psychological abuse and emotional mutilation for the sake of others that I just hadn't realized that I spent my life on stage never having a time to really prepare, always given a degrade, d minus, d plus performance, feeling more so shame than celebration or success. Yet now, after being. After ten to 15 years of just trying, I got good at this. What is this?

And introduction to my version of #podcasting and #spokenword

You discover things under your skin that you didn't know existed or that you weren't aware of. And it's a great exercise in feeling fear and moving forward and accepting it. I'm a huge fan of winging stuff and taking the leap and just discovering what's on the other side of discomfort. I think it's a little life hack to kind of tackle things with no plan every now and then, to sort of find your feet along the way. It's very. Yeah, I agree

To feel the inertia build up of just trying. And I think that was the other thing that I just didn't mention in this. That we penalize trying and we shouldn't. And even this whole thing on swell right now, which I love. There's no penalty for trying here and there normally wasn't for a long time. With the world of apprenticeships and things like that. But anyway, thank you for listening again. I love this platform. It's a swell place to be

And when we find ourselves, that's when we become confident, that's when we're able to walk tall and we walk on our own while viewing and absorbing the things around us and knowing that we truly matter. So I want to encourage you this morning and to keep doing what you're doing and to keep focusing and to do it for you. Nobody cares what everybody else thinks. No, in reality, nobody does. But in the world that we live in, it seems that we do

I thank you so much for your reply. And you're right, the hardest part is to pull through to but continue. It's like an arcade machine that's flashing ten, nine, eight and it's like you're so used to people accepting game over and some of us aren't the type. I think that was the secret to it, just knowing that you can be your own loser by yourself and refusing to. As a man, I have to see it a little differently

So I just listened to this. I just listened to it. Wow, man. We definitely need to talk. Like, I just started scrolling through yours because I saw that you came on here in March of this year. So you haven't been doing it this long, but you posted that much. But then, yeah, this is what I did. And just listening to your verse

And yeah, if you know an agent or have you know anyone who like to like hire a little old person like me, send them my way. I've never done radio or journalism or any of these stuff before. I don't know nothing. The only thing I know is I love it. And I was a person who got stuck for many years asking questions and answering them alone researching room, that's all. Could I have living a private life? Yes

I totally connect to what you're saying. I have always not so much anymore, but growing up, especially, I always tried to be perfect. I always felt like I had to be perfect, especially for my dad. There's a lot of psychological, emotional trauma there. And piano has always been my first love. And as a musician, especially in college, you are constantly being pressured to perform at your best, but you never really learn how to perform at your best

Trying to, you know, find the best thing, the best note. In my case, the best midi note. I'm not a musician. I'm also a writer, lyricist, not been on stage as a rapper. Did very well, but was too heavenly bound at the time for my earthly good, then turned around and was too hellbound to be of any perfectly good and background again
