And I know that that award is definitely going to help her because the nomination already is. But I'd love to hear what everyone's thoughts are. What do you think about this controversy with the way people are acting over Greta and Margie not getting it, and unfortunately, America kind of lost in the shuffle. Love to hear what everyone's thoughts are

America Ferrera is now an Oscar nominated actress. But, we’re too busy crying for the Barbies

Not because we're racist, because my daughters are mixed, they're black and white, but I wanted them to have a doll that looked like them. And for a long time it didn't seem like I would find one, especially not with Barbie dolls. So I had to go outside of that. But anyway, that's just my two cent about it. I hope she wins. And honestly, I think she will

@LadyFi Barbie, Modern Feminism and Internet outrage

Again, where was that outrage when there was an entire asian cast that killed it at the Oscars, killed it at the movies? No one decided to say, you know what? They deserve to have swept the Oscars. Michelle Yao should have got it. Stephanie should have got it. The director should have gotten a 24. Should have gotten it. No one said that. There was just more of a, well, Jamie Lee Curtis is a legend. I'm glad she got one

@LadyFi My concerns about modern female politics in media

And I find it very funny that a movie, again, that's wrapped up around the image of the beautiful white woman is still being held as a crowning achievement of a culture that likes to think it's not racist anymore. It's very, very strange. It

There was an interesting study one time, they put children, little girls, in a room, and they put white dolls and black dolls in front of them. Now, the black girls picked the white dolls, and they asked them, why would you pick a white doll over a black doll? And they said, because she's prettier. Now, where did they learn that? Society, probably. And look how they were very young

And until we insist that they be brought into the conversations and sit at the tables and bring that up, and we make movies, and I mean stellar movies about stuff like this, then, no, we're not going to have anything but memories and heroines of our own stories in our lives because it's not significant enough that they think, and they don't think it's going to be a blockbuster movie. I mean, look at Viola Davis

S so, unfortunately, the movie, for all its quality, was kind of just walked over. It was overlooked, but I bought it. It's a fantastic film. Viola Davis was fantastic in it, and the cast was just brilliant. And what needs to be talked about the most? These were beautiful, strong black women in a film that were just kicking all types of ass, and they just did not get the time of day. And like I said, we've had Wonder Woman
