Because in my opinion, what we're seeing now is a collapse of being able to live life. If a person cannot fathom that a breakup is not the end of the world, things don't work out, you move along. Instead, there's a breakup. Text messages will be leaked, photographs will be leaked. Ten years later, false accusations will be thrown. Whatever it may be, do we need to do something about how we use social media?

The Joe Smith incident has highlighted issues with social media and modern relationships, where are we online with love? Lets chat

We're just not equipped as humans to have more than something like 200 connections with other people. Right? And don't quote me on that. I don't know the ins and outs of the language that was used, but it's sort of that idea. And then you look at social media, and we're creating these quote unquote platforms where it's us supposedly quote unquote connecting with the masses, and depending on who you are and how many followers you have, it's a farce, right?

It helps to see what somebody is doing. And yeah, for me, I just post a lot of silly things, funny memes and stuff like that. I'd rather people think that book two they not doing that much with my life. I don't need to know everything because I find that when you let them know about anything positive going on in your life, not a lot of people are truly happy. If you're doing well or not. A lot of people will care

And I think to be in a global village where we can exchange information in a way that's not depleting our own self esteem or our own sense of compare and despair is a magnificent idea, and I hope we come back to it at some point. And sometimes I feel like when I'm in conversation here, I've been a part of over 40,000 conversations. The bulk of my experience is that with strangers I learn and I grow and I build empathy and I just expand

I just don't feel like that's the place. Especially with how people use social media these days. I just don't feel like that's the place for me to broadcast any of that information. Personal information is meant for me, my family, my close friends, and that's it. And it's just ridiculous. I even have some close friends. I'm thinking of one in particular, and Lord help me if they ever listen to this and put together who I'm talking about

It. I think that's what my biggest concern is. Like you said before, it's a privilege to know a person, especially if they're a good person, especially if a person is willing to open themselves up and share. But even, like you said, with that in mind, you have to be conscious of what you share and who you share it with. And I think that's what the issue is with, ah, social media
