#thecheckin: Ep. 32 - Akira Toriyama, the gateway to my love of Anime and Japanese entertainment

That was the era where kids used to just look around and find everything. And I distinctively remember coming upon a cartoon section, and in the cartoon section, you'd see those titles that you knew. I remember watching Fox kids a lot as a kid, and they would have certain shows like Tasmania and a couple of episodes that they would have on VHS, two episodes

We lost an absolute legend today

This is very sad. May he rest in peace to be totally serious with you. That was the only cartoon dragon Ball z of the anime that I ever watched and the reason why I got into it and I started watching is because I thought that he was the artist that made speed racer when I was a kid in the 60s but it was tatsio Yoshida that actually did it but his artwork looked so similar until I started watching it and I really appreciated his artwork because I'm an artist as well
