And it deserves to be played out amidst people who actually understand the situation and understand that this is something that's going to need time to heal. This is going to be time to have somebody actually do detective work and look into it. Because, like I said, I love Jonathan Majors as an actor. If he's an abuser, this is a problem. This is something that can't keep going on

But because it got blown up so big in the media, then of course everybody's got their eye on it. And I think the outcome was what it was based on, the fact that it was so far into the media and everybody having an opinion except the people that really should have, and that's the jury and the judge itself. When I did look at some of the evidence, it did appear that his girlfriend was more at fault than he was

But to paraphrase that, we would forget all about Ezra Miller's legal troubles and all the accusations because the performance was so good. So that lets you know that there is preferential treatment in these circumstances when it comes to misconduct. Mel Gibson, the drunken tirade that he went on that was extremely anti semitic was met with what I call soft blacklisting because he still made movies that were fairly prevalent. They were still being seen
